MISSION

Manage the Plant resources (people and machines), focused on safety, quality and efficiency, in order to achieve the production program previously agreed with the Planning Department, in terms of product quantity, required specifications and dates. (Members of the food safety team) – Only for industrial plants

FUNCTIONS

• Manage the team to follow policies and procedures to get the goals and objectives
• Selection and retention, communication, development, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; planning and reviewing compensation actions.
• Weekly validation with the Planning Department of the production program to be carried out.
• In cooperation with the Production and Maintenance support, program the resources needed for achieving the production program. Report in advance any deviation over production program.
• Daily follow-up of production results, taking actions in order to minimize deviations over production program according to SAP.
• Daily meeting with Production and Maintenance support, with KPI metrics defined previously based on SAP.
• Monthly closing activities & report.
• After checking closure activities on SAP, make the monthly report with the results obtained within the Plant activities, and deliver it to the Country Business Manager and Plants Coordinator
• Assure the best possible level of performance in the shipping of finished product.
• Daily follow-up of trucks loading metrics.
• Maintenance of the finished product warehouse (level of occupation, rotatory inventories)
• Rotary inventory and maintenance of warehouse and raw minerals stocks.
• Quality Health and Safety assurance activities.
• Alongside quality department, assure the control procedures on quality Health and Safety are performed on place and on time, taking right decisions or corrective actions regarding product specifications, Lost workday cases, etc.
• Participate in the HR topics related to plant workforce requirements and conditions.
• Alongside with HR department, manage the Production & Maintenance workforce needed. Alongside with HR department, participate as a member in the Premiums and Professional Categories commissions, in front of the Company Committee.
• Propose to CBM and Finance department the improvements or actions needed.
• Weekly review of cost deviations, proposal of budget / capex provisions when needed.

General Education / Technical Skills: Mine Engineering. Proficient with SAP.

Professional experience: Experience in industrial environment. Able to lead root cause analysis investigations. Able to explain training material to our operating staff.

Languages: Fluent English.
