QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

GROUP & BANQUET SALES EXECUTIVE

An exceptional opportunity presents itself for Group & Banquet Sales Executive to be part of flagship Rixos Tersane İstanbul. It is a newly constructed hotel that will be representative of refine hospitality. Rixos Tersane İstanbul will present 432 bedrooms.

You will be part of a strong pre-opening Sales team who will be showcasing the property.

Responsibilities:

  • Organizing sales call programs, visitings existing and potential clients in order to drive business, pruduce demand, collects inquiries,
  • To obtain full knowledge of Competitors products to understand the market place and maximize the profit,
  • Sends out the proposals for events and groups more than 10 rooms as per Rixos’s current standards or inform the client by visiting them in their place to convert the business with maximum profit,
  • Convinces clients to choose Rixos Tersane Istanbul by proper follow up on each booking by using negotiating techniques, 
  • Preparing the contract and pro-forma invoice, follows up pre- payments,
  • To conduct show arounds and menu tasting if needed / Attending pre-con meetings with the client,
  • To build strong working relationships with our clients and develop an understanding of their specific needs and requirements concentrating on larger accounts to develop future/repeat  business for the Hotel,
  • To ensure maximisation of sales and revenue for the hotel by being aware of all sales opportunities within all areas of the Hotel.

Qualifications:

  • University degree in a related discipline preferred,
  • Preferably luxury brand experience in a similar position,
  • Excellent communication and organization skills,
  • Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities,
  • Ability to work within a team,
  • Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in English Language.

Bachelor’s(Graduate), Master’s(Graduate)
English(Reading : Advanced, Writing : Advanced, Speaking : Advanced)
