Qualifications

•  Bachelor’s degree from Actuarial Sciences, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering or other related fields
•  Experience in Actuarial Analysis, Pricing or related technical roles is a plus
• Preparing for or passed 1st level actuarial exams is a plus
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English
• Ability to work well in a team setting
• High level of MS Excel/Access proficiency

Responsibilities

•  Carry out all work related to local Statutory Valuations including:

- Getting all the reports and information from Home Office and other departments
- Support on completing all the Regulatory Forms
- Support on responding to queries from both Auditors and Regulators
-Coordinating the sign off on Regulatory forms from the Appointed Actuary

• Ensuring timely submission to the Regulator within the deadline

 Support on Regulatory Reporting Cycles
- Including any regulatory reports that has been submitted to Turkish Regulator
- Coordinate with relevant departments to get the information and reports
- Compare the results with prior years and review for significant change

•  Reinsurance Reporting and support on Reinsurance Analysis

- Month closing reinsurance reporting
 - Coordinate with relevant departments to get the information and reports
- Reconciliation of the figures with reinsurers and other relevant departments

•   Support on the admin system updates including new product tests and any other actuarial related issues
•  Support on Impairment Testing calculations.
•  Support on technical budget exercise.
•  Support Annual Experience Studies

- Including Mortality, Lapse, Expense, Interest and Premium Persistency
- Coordinate with relevant departments to get the information and reports
- Compare the results with prior years and review for significant change

•  Ensure proper documentation of all work
•   Be Flexible and a Team Member to support on other actuarial areas whenever needed
