We are looking for a Logistics Specialist who will take a role in our Manisa plant in our Supply Chain Department with a fixed term contract.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Graduation in related engineering department from reputable universities
  • Fluent in English both verbal and written. Other languages a plus
  • Min 3 years' experience within Procurement, is preferring to have experience in both direct & indirect procurement.
  • ERP background – SAP preferred
  • Living Manisa/İzmir region or willing to relocate,
  • Ability to travel
  • Ability to work with uncertainties
  • At ease with conflicting interests
  • Action oriented and quick problem solver
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to think strategically and to work with complex data
  • Ideally worked in a Matrix environment
  • International business experience desired

To reach our ambitious targets and keep guaranteeing the highest quality in our markets, we are looking for a highly motivated, proactive, and collaborative colleague for a Procurement/ Buyer (Home Solutions) is located in Manisa, Turkey. 

  • He/she is the key Procurement Business Partner to the local entity for the assigned spend and categories. 
  • He/she provides procurement service and secures Procurement’s support to the local business strategy and performance.
  • He/she is accountable for the implementation of the central and local procurement strategies for the assigned spend and categories.
  • He/she ensures proper deployment of procurement practices, policies and projects; creating a competitive advantage for Franke at a minimum risk to the business. At the same time, he/she is the voice of the customer towards the central organization regarding what support is required from Procurement in order to best support the business success.

The Buyer is reporting to the Procurement Cluster Lead within the Division and is instrumental in driving alignment through stakeholder groups and across distinct spend and categories for the respective locations.

Key Accountabilities, Category Management, Execution and Local Procurement Operations:

  • Understands division business strategy & objectives and translate into procurement requirements
  • Challenges the Global Category Teams to ensure their contribution impacts positively the local business while keeping the global strategy in mind
  • Works with plant,business,category leaders to support identification & prioritization of specific local sourcing initiatives by:
    • Mapping local current suppliers or service providers & spend for per sub-categories directly impacted by the category strategy or business requirements, understand plant procurement operational requirements, and identify category opportunities & accordingly execute
    • Validate & challenge internal & external analysis (industry & supplier) defined in a cross functional sourcing team that may comprise of teams from internal functional stakeholders & procurement
    • Contribute to the elaboration of the strategy for the relevant categories
    • Lead the preparation the material for RFx (Request for Proposal/Quote/Information), including development of briefing documents, cost template & assessment criteria for local categories
    • Support supplier selection & fact-based negotiations
    • Support reviews of contracting document in close collaboration with legal & relevant functional areas, cascades-down & implement with local business stakeholders,
    • Ensures execution of Procurement tasks against agreed-upon objectives,
  • In charge of the reporting for his/her local assigned spend, categories & assures compliances to standards, adaption of ways of working
  • Contract Implementation & management for locally concluded contracts, supplier performance management for relevant suppliers
  • Consolidates & feedback supplier performance data to global category teams
  • Acts as a Procurement Business Partner; is “the face of procurement” for the local business and the other way around to the central organization. He/she ensures business requirements are met; internal clients are satisfied. He/ she is covering the assigned spend & categories of the local business, direct/indirect
  • Own of the local spend & provide value creation ideas/projects, including innovation, sustainability, risk management and cost
  • Manages & influences local top management towards effective Procurement integration & alignment with the business
  • Manages escalation process with direct/indirect category management or Procurement leadership when required
  • Remove existing barriers to enable more effective delivery of innovation, new suppliers & new materials
