QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

FMC Human Resources is looking for a specialist for Sales & Order Support for the Service Department for our client, one of the leading suppliers for machineries and plants for the cement production. The position will be supporting local Sales Manager by preparing the offers and handling orders. Following the purchase order the main task is to keep an eye on the delivery times and to support our team in preparing the dispatch documentation being in close contact with the customer. This task requires a strong cooperation with the team in Germany Head Office, where also the basic training will be provided. 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Offer preparation and order management
  • Managing the momentary shipping communication traffic between the Logistics Department in Germany and Turkish end customers, including translation and document submission
  • Submission of the prepared draft shipping documents prepared by the Logistics Department to Turkish end customers
  • Submission of customer comments and requested corrections back to the Logistics Department
  • Aligning with the customer and customers’ custom broker on the final documents
  • If necessary, phone conversation with customers and customers’ custom broker

 

Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise

  • University degree
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar function
  • Good command of English and Turkish is a must, German is a plus
  • Experienced in offer preparation and order management, preferably knowledge of local invoicing process
  • Basic knowledge on international shipping procedures and Turkish customs requirements for international and local transports
  • Excellent communication skills, detail-oriented and well-organized
  • A basic knowledge of SAP is an advantage
  • Conversant with MS Office applications
