QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

General Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related fields,
• Proven work experience as a Procurement Specialist or in a similar role. Experience in a medical device industry will be a plus.
• Solid understanding of purchasing strategies and supply chain management.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant business applications. Experience with any ERP is a must.

Job Description

• Conduct thorough market research to identify potential suppliers within the medical device industry,
• Evaluate their capabilities, reliability, and suitability for the organization’s needs related to lenses, non-lenses, and instruments goods,
• Follow lens and non-lens suppliers Group strategy,
• Collaborate closely with internal compliance teams to understand procurement requirements specific to medical devices,
• Foster positive relationships with suppliers to ensure smooth communication and efficient processes,
• Assess products and services based on key business criteria, including quality, cost, and delivery time,
• Make informed decisions regarding supplier selection, considering the requirements of medical devices quality and Turkish importation legislation,
• Create accurate purchase orders in accordance with organizational guidelines,
• Skillfully negotiate terms and conditions with vendors, emphasizing timely delivery,
• Regularly evaluate supplier performance,
• Identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and efficiency enhancement,
• Ensure timely delivery of goods by closely monitoring shipment schedules,
• Collaborate with logistics partners to track shipments and address any delays promptly.
